Keep rooms in service.

TNT / Guide 01

Which rooms came out of service, and for how many nights?

A leak over one room can affect the room below it and the hallway outside. Start with the outage log so the roof assessment follows the disruption guests and staff actually experienced.

What to bring.

  • Room numbers, outage dates, and where staff first saw water.
  • Bookings displaced, refunds issued, and repair invoices. Track these separately from the number of rooms taken offline.
  • Existing roof warranty, roof access, and windows between check-out and check-in.

Who to include

Bring the general manager, maintenance lead, and the owner or management company that approves the work.

Work window

Agree on quiet hours, guest routes, housekeeping access, and which air intakes must stay clear.
